MCC MEDIA is a television and video production company based in Sunderland. We are making corporate and commercial films as well as developing documentary ideas. As part of the company’s business to business development plan we are looking for a salaried plus commission based marketing and sales executive. We are looking for a responsible, professional and experienced person who has great selling skills, marketing/promotion ideas and ideally his/her own contact lists. The main purpose of this role is marketing our video production services and finding potential clients from a range of businesses, leading the sale and increasing the revenue of the company. This is an on-going and long term opportunity. It is also a great opportunity for someone who is looking to move more into media based opportunities.

Our B2B corporate video services are promotional, advertising, training, educational and webcast videos and TV commercials. Our clients are all sized private businesses, charity organisations, schools, colleges, universities and other educational institutions and public organisations. Our priority is to work within the North East and neighbouring areas, however will work all over the UK if the project is substantial.

The main focus of this role is to work across public health both locally and nationally.

You must be able to source your own prospect lists, identify potential markets, find new clients, pitch ideas, generate appointments and successfully close sales. For this salaried based job, you will be calling and visiting clients so a clean licence is essential.

Expertise in sales and marketing, ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of businesses , good writing skills, ability to present and pitch ideas, outgoing and confident personality are essential. Also an understanding of film and media is desirable.

The right candidate must have clear drive and determination in what is often a very unpredictable market.

Salary dependent upon experience, plus good commission rates. Our services range in price from several thousand to tens of thousands so this represents a great opportunity for the right person.

This is a tight time scale with CV being considered between 14-21 of Feb. Interviews will be held on Friday 24th Feb and the successful candidate will start the following week.
